Bimetallic thermometer is an industrial meter applicable to measure medium and low temperature in petrochemical mineral well, metallurgy, textile, military industry, pharmacy, food etc. It can be used to directly show the temperature of gas, liquid and vapour.
Bimetallic thermometer has the advantages:quick in reaction,easy in reading shockproof ,free of mercury pollution, stable performance,long in service,the class of casing protection upto IP65 etc.It can substitute industrial glass mercury thermometer being widly applicable to varis fields.
2.Configuration
Bimetallic thermometer consists of Bimetallic thermometer-sensitive element, supporting pipe, connector, indication scale etc. Bimetallic thermometer-sensitive element is to use multi-coil straight spiral bimetallic strip one end is fixed another end cfree end,is connectted on core axle.When the temperature varies,the free end of temperature-sensitive element rotates.via core axle to drive the needle on the scale to indicate the change value of the measured media temperature .Bemetallic thermometer is divided into 3 types-axial type,radial type,and universal type according to the stucture,or 4 types-common type,(sole index),with electric joint,remote transmission and with noctilucence accordingto the function.
